1: Preheat oven to 350°F. 2: In a large pan, heat oil at medium high heat. Add leeks and let them release all their liquid. 3: Once leeks are soft, reduce heat to medium low and continue cooking down to brown and caramelize. 4: Place half of the leeks at the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. Place drumsticks on top and add remaining leeks on drumsticks. 5: Mix the sauce ingredients (lemon juice, minced garlic, pomegranate syrup, chopped green onion, paprika, sumac, salt, and pepper) in a small mixing bowl. 6: Pour the sauce onto chicken. Move chicken around to make sure the sauce goes everywhere. 7: Cover tightly and place in the oven for an hour. 8: Uncover and bake for another 40-45 minutes, or until browning forms at the top.
