A traditional bread custom for Purim, known as l’oeuil de Haman, made using challah dough and decorated with an egg in the center.

1: Using your challah dough, take a ball the size of a tennis ball and roll it into a ball. 2: Place it on parchment paper and slightly push in the middle to create a dent. 3: Take a raw egg and spray non-stick spray so it doesn’t stick to your bread once cooked. Place the egg in the middle. 4: Take more dough to create an X sign on top of the egg and stick it to the dough on the sides of the egg. 5: Using scissors, slightly cut all around. 6: Leave it to rest covered, then brush egg and sprinkle sesame seeds. 7: Bake just like you would bake your challah.
