A comforting and easy tomato alphabet soup that is perfect for kids and adults alike, reminiscent of a school cafeteria classic. This recipe yields about 3-4 servings, ideal for quick dinners on busy days. You can adjust the ingredients to your preference, and serve it with a melty grilled cheese for the ultimate comfort meal.

1: Dice your onion and garlic. Heat oil at the bottom of a pot and saute onion and garlic until soft. 2: Lower the heat to medium, add full can/carton of tomato sauce. If using @huntstomatosauce, add 2 more cans of water. If using @tuscaninifoods, add 3 more cartons of water. 3: Add oregano, salt and sugar. (For creamy purposes, and for kids not to notice the onion and garlic pieces, blend the sauce using a hand blender. But if you don't mind the pieces, it is optional.) 4: Bring soup base to a boil. Turn the heat OFF, add in your pasta, mix quickly, then COVER the pot for at least 10 minutes. 5: When your pasta is cooked, adjust salt level and add water if you like it more liquid. 6: Serve with a hot, melty grilled cheese.
