A delicious one-pot meal featuring chicken simmered with dried fruits, onions, and a blend of flavorful spices, perfect for a cozy meal. This versatile dish can also be made ahead of time and reheated.

1: Heat a large braiser or heavy bottom pot at medium high heat. Add oil. 2: Add onions and fry until brown. Add dried fruits and caramelize with the onions. 3: Pour wine and let the alcohol evaporate and the wine to penetrate the dried fruits. Then, add silan, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper. 4: Carefully place your chicken pieces in the sauce, while basting them at the same time. Add about a cup of water to create a sauce. 5: Simmer on the stove top, covered for about 1.5 hours and about 30 minutes uncovered, or cover and bake in the oven at 350 for about 1.5 hours and another 30 minutes uncovered.
