These Moroccan Anis Tea Cookies are perfect for any time of day. They're easy to make as the dough takes just minutes to prepare in a mixer. Once mixed, simply roll out, cut, and bake. With no complicated shaping or rotating cookie sheets, you'll have your cookies ready in no time. They make an excellent snack for afternoon tea, post-dinner, or with your morning coffee.

1: Preheat oven to 350°F and line a full size baking sheet with parchment paper. 2: In a mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine all dry ingredients and mix. Then add wet ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms. If it's too dry, add 1 tablespoon of water at a time while the mixer is running. 3: Transfer the dough to a parchment paper. Top with another layer of parchment and roll out as thin as you can, about 1/2 cm. 4: Remove the top parchment, transfer the sheet to a baking sheet, poke holes throughout with a fork, and cut dough into long strips. 5: Bake for 30-35 minutes.
