1: In a large skillet, start by sautéing both onions in some oil. After browning, add fennels and caramelize until right before fork tender. 2: Prepare marinade: miso, soy, sesame oil, lime, 1 tsp garlic powder, black pepper. Pour it in your pot and add 1 cup of water. Simmer the sauce and adjust saltiness level to taste. 3: In a bowl, mix meat with breadcrumbs, egg, remaining garlic powder and salt. Add about 3 tsp of the marinade straight from the pot to season the inside of the meatballs. 4: Form meatballs and place in the sauce. Cover and simmer for about 25-30 minutes. 5: Enjoy it.
