Delicious chicken meatballs, inspired by Moroccan 'boulettes panées', made with minced chicken, onions, potatoes, and spices. These meatballs are easy to fry and simmer, making them a perfect dish for special occasions or family dinners.
Finely mince the onion and potato using a small food processor.
Oil the bottom of a pan.
In a medium size mixing bowl, combine minced chicken, potato and onion, egg, breadcrumbs, and spices (leave out 1 tsp turmeric).
Form small chicken meatballs and fill your pan, leaving some space between each meatball.
Start frying at medium high heat, turning the meatballs continuously so all sides brown.
If frying more, remove the meatballs and repeat the process.
Reduce heat to a simmer, add water, 1 tsp turmeric (or saffron) and salt.
Cover the pan and let them simmer for 30 minutes.
