Instructions
1: Start by preheating your oven to 350F. 2: In the bowl of an electric mixer, fitted with a whisk, combine wet cake ingredients with sugar. Mix until combined. 3: Sift flour, chocolate powder and baking powder to avoid lumps. Mix well with other ingredients. 4: Spray a 9” round pan (springform or not). You can also do 9x13 for a flatter cake. Pour batter in pan. Bake for 40-45 min or until a toothpick comes out clean. 5: Prepare your ganache: in a small saucepan heat whipping cream, do not let it boil. Add chocolate and mix until fully melted. Set aside. 6: When cake comes out of the oven, pour ganache on it then place in the fridge to set for at least a few hours. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.View original recipe
