They involve a process broken down into three main steps: preparation of meat and potato, forming the patties, and frying them. What you need

egg yolk

lemon juice

pinch saffron

bay leaves

tsp paprika

potato starch

lb russet potato
tbsp oil

tsp black pepper

cup water
egg

tsp cumin
Instructions
1: Peel and cut potatoes and add them to a pot of water. Boil for about 30-40 minutes until fork tender. 2: Meanwhile, fry onion in oil in a pan. Add minced beef and break it down. 3: When almost fully cooked, reduce the heat to a simmer, and add spices and 3/4 cup of the saffron water. Simmer in spices for about 10 minutes.
