What you need

tbsp yeast

cup margarine
oil

sugar
cup warm water

cup flour

tsp vanilla
Instructions
1: In the bowl of an electric mixer, proof yeast, sugar and warm water for a few minutes. 2: Combine all other ingredients (except for the flour) in the mixer. Make sure not to put the salt directly on the yeast. Using a dough hook, mix everything at high speed to break up the margarine. 3: Add flour one cup at a time, waiting for it to be fully incorporated before adding the next. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it is soft and slightly sticky but not sticking to your hands. 4: Cover the dough and let it rest for 40 minutes. 5: Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into 4 pieces, then each part into 10 small pieces. Roll out each piece and form a circle. Set aside on a clean surface and cover to rest. 6: Heat about 2 inches of oil to 350°F in a large pot. Start frying the donuts in order of the one that was formed first.View original recipe
